Super Dungeon Bros aims for a November 1 release
Wired Productions and React Games were excited to reveal that their much anticipated, rock-themed, co-op dungeon brawler Super Dungeon Bros has set its sights on a November 1, 2016 launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for PC. It will come at a $19.99 price, and, to help celebrate the arrival of the heroes, it has received a new trailer:
Brad Moss, President of React Games, stated, “Super Dungeon Bros is our first foray into console gaming and it’s been a huge labor of love for our studio. We’re really excited to be announcing the release date and very much look forward to seeing our game make it onto retail shelves worldwide. Wired Productions have been a fantastic partner throughout the entire process, and without their support, we wouldn’t have been able to make this happen, roll on November 1st!”
“It’s been a brilliant experience in working with a studio on their very first multi format game, and we’re humbled to have been a part of it,” said Leo Zullo, Managing Director of Wired Productions. “Bringing Super Dungeon Bros to worldwide physical and digital retail, is also a testament to the belief we have in the game.”
For those unaware, the multiplayer-centric Super Dungeon Bros features a band of heavy metal heroes who have been summoned to embark on a quest from the Gods of Rock. They need to navigate the fantasy realm of Rökheim, seek out epic loot, vanquish hordes of evil undead, and uncover the legends of long lost fabled rock stars! It will feature captivating, laugh out loud action and adventure with fans able to play online or offline with up to four friends, whom they can fling onto far off ledges and distant trap triggers, or unleash their best tag team tactics.
You will explore three unique worlds in the realm. These are an underground dungeon complex known as Cryptheim, a brewery built upon a natural brew geyser known as Chillheim, and a sprawling jungle filled with poison plants and animals known as Bogheim. Every dungeon will be different due to random room generation artificial intelligence and a nearly infinite combination of dungeons.
In addition, they revealed that cross-platform online multiplayer is scheduled for a post-launch release, and plan to share more details soon.
