Phoenix Wright steps into the Kingdom of Khura’in on September 8, 2016
Capcom was excited to announce that Phoenix Wright: Ace Atorney – Spirit of Justice will officially arrive on September 8, 2016 for the 3DS. They have also shared a new trailer, which you can check out below:
Prior to release, a demo for the game will go live on August 25, allowing those interested to check out a section from the first courtroom scenario in the game and allowing players to slip into Phoenix’s shoes in the Kingdom of Khura’in as they get a taste of the Divination Séance. This, through royal priestess Rayfa, allows you to revisit the final moments of a victim’s life, allowing you to unravel discrepancies and contradictions between the Royal Priestess’s Insight and what the séance shows.
In terms of cast, you can expect to see several favorites and a new ensemble as well. Capcom has announced that Ema Skye, forensics scientist who first appeared in the original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, will be making her return, having passed her certification exams to become a full-fledged forensic investigator. She returns to assist Apollo in his defense of popular magician and Phoenix’s adopted daughter, Trucy Wright, who is mixed up in an unfortunate incident that occurs during one of her magic shows. Apollo and Athena will need to uncover the truth about the tragic death of one of Trucy’s co-performers, Mr. Reus. During this case, you will also meet a brand new character known as Bonny de Famme, a fledgling magician who appears in Trucy’s show and wishes to help Apollo in any way possible.
