Capcom reveals downloadable demo for Monster Hunter Generations
Capcom was excited to feature their Monster Hunter development team taking down formidable foes in a live demo of the upcoming Monster Hunter Generations title for the Nintendo 3DS. They went on to announce some news for fans of the series.
During the livestream, Capcom confirmed details for a downloadable demo of Monster Hunter Generations, featuring three monsters of varying difficulty levels for new and experienced players alike. It also has options for local and online multiplayer, up to four players.
Players are encouraged to join with others and start with the newly introduced Great Maccao, then proceed to face the new owl-like monster, Malfestio. Upon defeating these, players can truly test their mettle against the fan-favorite Nargacuga.
This demo will arrive on the Nintendo eShop starting on June 30, 2016, although select fans will receive special early access codes for the demo via email. Fans can also pick up the Humble Bundle E3 2016 Digital Ticket to gain early access to the demo.
In addition, they have unleashed a new E3 trailer for the game, introducing the daunting new enemies known as Deviant monsters. These are beasts that survived previous hunter encounters and have mutated and evolved into the greatest threats yet with fearsom looks, unpredictable behaviors, and unexpected abilities. These new challengers, such as the Dreadking Rathalos and the Thunderlord Zonogre, yield parts to craft incredibly powerful and unique gear.
The full game will arrive in digital and physical form across North America and Europe on July 15, 2016.
