KOEI TECMO shares new trailers for Attack on Titan

KOEI TECMO America was excited to unveil new details on pre-order bonuses and gameplay for the upcoming fast-paced action game, Attack on Titan. In addition, they have also shared new screens and two new trailers showing off the heroes, mighty Titans, and high-octane gameplay. Check out the gameplay trailers below:

Those who pre-order the title from Amazon, Best Buy, EB Canada, or GameStop will receive two bonus costumes. These are the Cleaner’s Weapon and Costume for Eren and Levi, as well as Mikasa’s Festival Costume. Those who decide to purchase the game digitally will receive Attack on Titan avatars to utilize on PlayStation Network.

The Omni-Directional Mobility Gear will be a key gameplay element within Attack on Titan, as players will be able to utilize the gear in order to quickly traverse the environment and to aid them in slaying the powerful Titans. Players will need to keep an eye on their gas tank levels as they fly through the environment, as it will be depleting as you move.

To combat this, you can carry additional gas tanks and quickly replenish your gas levels. As you fight, your blades’ durability will also deteriorate, so you will need to replace them as you weaken and slay the Titans.

The Titans themselves can be weakened as you strike at their limbs. As you utilize the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear to latch on th Titans, you will be able to aim at which limb you wish to attack. Keep in mind, however, that you will want to aim at the nape of the Titan’s neck (their critical weak spot) for the finishing blow in order to dish out optimal damage.

As you battle, you will not be alone, as up to four non-playable characters can also be recruited to fight alongside you. In battle, you can command them to carry out attacks, offering up different ways to approach the oncoming beasts.

Attack on Titan is scheduled to launch on August 30, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC.

What are your thoughts on the new information and trailers?
