InSomnia reaches 30% funding mark in a week
Studio Mono was excited to announce that the Kickstarter for their upcoming Unreal Engine-based RPG, InSomnia, has already achieved 30% of their targeted goal, gaining £17,000 in pledges by over 850 backers in a mere week.
Lead developer at Studio Mono, Anatoliy Guyduk, commented on the success, stating, “We’ve had an incredible first week at Kickstarter. The Prologue has been downloaded over 5,000 times and received some valuable feedback and hugely entertaining Let’s Play videos. We’re flabbergasted to have already raised an incredible 30% of our target!”
Brian Fargo, creator of the popular Fallout series, said, “The team at Studio Mono are working extra hard to convey a moody and detailed world with InSomnia, and it shows. They are creating a rich world that I want to know more about!”
For those unaware, here’s a quick “About”, as presented on the official press release:
InSomnia is dystopian vision, set in a murky, retro-futuristic style. The game takes place on a colossal, semi-deserted interplanetary space station. Having left their dying planet behind, this space metropolis, along with its inhabitants, has been moving towards the distant, ghost-like Evacuation Point for the past 400 years, where the descendants of the once great people hope to start over the history of mankind.
