Players can now enlist as a member of Section 9 through 1PM PDT on Sunday, May 1, for free, allowing them to fight terrorists in the new squad-based FPS title, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – First Assault Online. Those who join this free period will gain immediate game access as well as a free M4A1 weapon skin for the duration of the promotion.
In addition, during this Steam Free Weekend and for a short time after, First Assault will be on sale, allowing interested gamers to pick up the Specialist Early Access Pack at 50% off. This puts the pack, providing over $35 worth of content, at a mere $7.49, granting players immediate entry to the Early Access Program, one bonus operative unlock, three exclusive weapon skins, and 200,000 GP in-game currency.
