Eisenhorn: XENOS to arrive on PC on May 19

Pixel Hero Games was excited to announce that their upcoming action adventure title set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Eisenhorn: XENOS, is set to arrive on PC on May 19, 2016, with iOS and Android versions arriving later in the year.

The game follows the journey of Gregor Eisenhorn, voiced by British actor Mark Strong. Gregor is an inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos, who are Alien hunters of the Imperium, on a quest to hunt down an ancient tome of evil origin. The game is set in a dystopian, fantasy universe and follows the books storyline, allowing players to experience the world through Eisenhorn’s eyes as they utilize stealth, psychic powers, and a vast array of weapons to adventure through an 11 hour single player campaign. As a result, it will be up to you to determine whether or not Eisenhorn and his comrades complete their mission to save the Imperium.

Nader Alikhani, Studio Head of Pixel Hero Games, stated, “We are tremendously excited to be working with Games Workshop on such a unique project. Adapting the incredibly rich source material of Xenos into a compelling adventure game, and allowing players to experience the inner workings of the Imperium of man through Eisenhorn’s fabled eyes is an opportunity I’m sure no fan will want to miss.”

Eisenhorn: XENOS will be the second game that Pixel Hero Games has developed, with their first being Spiral Episode 1.

“The Pixel Hero Games team is a talented outfit, and matching their skill with the story and characters of this much loved and best-selling book will create a unique and characterful experience,” said Games Workshops Head of Licensing, Jon Gillard. “They’ve captured the look and feel of the Xenos novel wonderfully, and this distinctive take will allow players to interact with the Warhammer 40,000 universe in ways not seen before.”

The Standard version on PC is set to be priced at $24.99/£18.99/22.99, with a Deluxe Edition, including a copy of the soundtrack and digital art book, priced at $34.99/£26.99/31.99.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming game, based on the information shared thus far?
