Bar Oasis 2 Aftertaste 1 reaches slot 14 of top 20 paid Apps over Easter

Corners Studio was thrilled to announce that their visual novel meets time-management title, Bar Oasis 2 Aftertaste 1 had managed to reach 14 of the top 20 paid applications in the US App Store over this Easter weekend.

Taek, CEO of Corners Studio, stated, “It was so amazing to see our game reach the top 20 over the Easter weekend! We don’t celebrate it as a public holiday, but hoped that people would see Bar Oasis as a perfect long weekend experience. I think we made the right decision after seeing the warm response from iOS audiences there. Thank you so much and we hope the players who enjoyed Bar Oasis 2 Aftertaste 1 spread the word about our quirky game!”

For those unaware of the title, here’s a quick “About”, as presented on the official press release.

About Bar Oasis 2 Aftertaste 1
In Bar Oasis 2 Aftertaste 1, players take on the role of Vic Johnson, a bartender who works at the titular Bar Oasis. As he chats to the quirky regulars and listens to their stories of love, loss and lust he must also serve them their favourite drinks in a timely manner, including paying attention to details like not shaking a Martini when the customer wants it stirred! Players must also remember to serve drinks to customers swiftly, so they don’t get thirsty and impatient. As Vic gets to know his co-workers and clientele in sometimes friendly, sometimes more intimate ways, players see a story unfold – perhaps some “over-time” with the new girl, Lucy, is in the cards?

Leveraging the features and power of smartphone platforms to create the most advanced cocktail making simulator on mobile devices, Bar Oasis 2 Aftertaste 1 provides some real mixing techniques players can use to impress their friends the next time they have them over for a few drinks. This awesome mini-game, wrapped up in a compelling, laugh out loud visual novel and an awesome jazz soundtrack from composer Nauts, will transport gamers to the world of Bar Oasis and get them in the mood to try something new.
