Developer Etter Studio and publisher Bitforge were thrilled to announce that the award-winning physics conundrum game, Dreii, has arrived on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam, as well as the Apple App Store and Google Play. Check out the teaser trailer below:

Christian Etter, Game Designer, stated, “We can’t wait to see desktop, mobile and tablet players, working collectively to solve Dreii’s geometric physics puzzles. Dreii is founded on one thing – connecting players in real-time across the world to help one another in a battle against gravity. The launch is the first phase of the Dreii rollout and we are excited to be releasing Dreii on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Wii U soon”.

Your mission in Dreii is quite simple: You need to build a tower to a specific point and hold it there. It sounds easy enough, but you have to deal with a number of things working against you, such as gravity, explosives, magnetism, thunderstorms, and even incompetent colleagues. If you have any hope of success, you’ll need the help of your friends, who can play on different desktop and mobile devices, as the game features true cross-platform play. Each player has his or her own instrument, with avatars working together to form the game’s unique universal orchestra, creating a musical landscape inspired by archaic instruments and ancient melodies.

In addition, Dreii is also cross-cultural, as it utilizes a universal communication tool allowing players to speak with each other, no matter where they are in the world. This tool utilizes simple words that become translated into 19 different languages. These languages are Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Rhaeto-Romanic, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Swiss-German and Turkish.

The concept study of Dreii  was launched in 2013 and quickly won the Swiss Game Award in 2013 and the European Design Award in 2014. It proceeded to become a finalist at IGF, IndieCade, and SXSW in 2014, with the most followed YouTuber, PewDiePie, calling it the “coolest puzzle game ever” in 2015.

Vita, Wii U, and PlayStation 4 players will be able to pick up the game in Spring 2016.
