Recently, Sandbox Interactive was thrilled to announce that the second major content update for their cross-platform sandbox MMORPG, Albion Online, has arrived, expanding the player versus environment content, improving the user interface, and adding in multiple community-anticipated features.
This update, known as Brutus, adds Undead Dungeons, Bosses and Mobs to expand the PvE content. The two new dugeons, called the “Sunken City” and the “Crypt”, each include a new feature that allows players to enter the same dungeon from different clusters, allowing those seeking co-op to fight the gateway boss. Those preferring solo adventures can also enter these dungeons through solo gateways, and within you will find two new members of the Undead faction to take on, specifically the Governor and the Necromancer.
In addition, this special update also includes several “Quality of Life” features, such as guild management tools. Sandbox Interactive also revealed that they are working on a broader set of improvements as they further optimize the user interface for all platforms supported (PC, Android, iOS, OSX, and Linux). The first step towards these optimizations is an optimized PC interface featuring smaller menu buttons, new positioning for several of the HUD elements, and more.
What do you think of these new updates?
