Ebi-Hime and Sekai Project release Strawberry Vinegar

Today Ebi-Hime, creator of Asphyxia and The Way We ALL GO, along with Sekai Project were thrilled to unleash a new slice-of-life story packed with food, cute demons, yuri, and more food. This story is known as Strawberry Vinegar, and is currently available on Steam.

Strawberry Vinegar is a cute and fluffy visual novel starring a grumpy and cynical young girl known as Sakuraba Rie. Rie has difficulty making friends, as she cares very little for her fellow classmates, and she also lives quite a mundane life. One day, however, her boring life makes a quick and unexpected turn when a self-proclaimed demon from the deepest, darkest pits of Hell shows up in her kitchen in order to swipe a trap of cookies.

Rie’s parents are quickly charmed by this mysterious guest, known as Licia. They believe her to be a Norwegian exchange student. Rie, on the other hand, is much less enthused, primarily due to Licia threatening to reap her soul if she isn’t fed, thus starting the unlikely relationship between these two mismatched girls.

Whether friendship, or even something more, blossoms between the two will be up to the reader to decide, but, as they stated on the press release, you can, “rest assured, no matter what, there will lots and lots of delicious food!”

The game is currently available on Steam for $9.99, and features a limited time 15% discount to celebrate the launch.
