Recently Funktronic Labs and Curve Digital were thrilled to announce that the unique turn-based yet real-time adventure, Nova-111, has been made available worldwide on the Nintendo Wii U via the Nintendo eShop. As with all platforms, those who purchase the game within the first two weeks of release will be able to take advantage of a special 25% off promotional discount from the usual price of $14.99.
For those that haven’t been following the title, Nova-111 is a quirky sci-fi adventure game set in space. It utilizes a game mechanic that requires you to manipulate both turn-based strategy and real-time gameplay as you attempt to fight alien creatures and solve puzzles while trying to rescue 111 of the world’s greatest minds after the largest scientific experiment in the universe goes wrong. You can check out the game’s launch trailer below:
Nova-111, which has won multiple awards at PAX and SXSW, as well as been nominated a finalist at Indiecade 2014, is the brain child of ex Q-Games developers Eddie Lee and Kalin, who previously worked on the PixelJunk series. It is currently available for Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Steam, and Xbox One.
