Activision, Bungie, and Red Bull have teamed up to bring Destiny: The Taken King players a special Red Bull Quest. This quest, which is available now with code redemption from special limited edition Red Bull cans and Walmart exclusive 4-packs featuring Destiny and the eSports athlete Flamesword, is a brand new quest line in Destiny: The Taken King.

The Red Bull Quest is a six stage quest that begins in the Tower where players will receive it from Amanda Holiday, a shipwright. The first step sends players on an Energy Spike patrol mission where they have to test their agility.

Next they will need to engage in a cooperative strike. Players will be required to complete this cooperative strike mission in less than 18 minutes.

The third task forces you into the Crucible, Destiny’s PvP arena. Here you will need to prove your abilities in a new mode for The Taken King known as Rift.

Finally, you’ll need to complete two more strikes. The second of these has the same requirement as the strike mission before you are thrust into the Crucible.

This quest line will give various rewards as you complete certain milestones. Once you have finished off the first strike, you will be granted the SR0 Swifter Trick Sparrow. When you finish the multiplayer challenges, you’ll gain access to the Joyride Ghost, and those who successfully prove their abilities in the final challenges will be given an upgrade to the first reward, turning it into the even faster SR1 Swifter Sparrow.

The Red Bull cans featuring codes for this special quest line also contain a one-time consumable Bonus XP buff known as Focused Light. This buff increases all experience earned for 30 minutes. The Walmart 4-pack contains 6 of these consumables.

If you miss out on the redemption, you’ll be able to experience the quest on January 1, 2016. If you want more information on the event, you can check out the official website here.
