Aliens vs. Predator invades Soldiers, Inc. with a new campaign

Today Plarium was thrilled to announce a partnership with Twentieth Century Fox for the rights to the Alien vs. Predator (AVP) franchise. Now that they’ve obtained these rights, another crossover will occur, bringing the themes and experiences of AVP into Plarium’s own hit, the Facebook game known as Soldiers, Inc. This is the first partnership of its kind for Plarium, and they intend to grow their presence of branded content, incorporating it within future games and franchises.

For those unaware of what Soldiers, Inc. is, it happens to be one of Plarium’s most popular titles, featuring 85 million total players. It is a Facebook Massively Multiplayer Online strategy game that was featured as “One of the best new games of the year” on Facebook. When you play, you’ll be thrust into the fictional realm of Zandia in 2019. With foreign powers, multinational companies, and underground criminal organizations fighting to locate rare minerals, you’ll need to plan well to come out ahead.

Mike Doyle, VP of Interactive Games at Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, commented on the partnership, stating, “Soldiers, Inc. has the perfect mixture of thrilling and engaging gameplay that is perfectly in step with the Alien vs Predator franchise. We look forward to bringing fans the ability to immerse themselves in a game eperience that incorporates the franchise’s high-octane excitement and takes it to another level.”

The AVP campaign within Plarium’s game will be fully voiced, and is an entirely separate experience from the original game. In this campaign, you’ll need to investigate a temple of unknown origin and extract various assets before a thermonuclear detonation occurs. Some of the features of this campaign will include a multi-mission story arc, a series of global missions, side missions, special reward units, collectible in-game items, and several boosts themed around the AVP experience.

“Plarium is thrilled to work with Twentieth Century Fox to bring such an iconic franchise to social gaming,” said Leonard Frankel, Head of Business Development for Plarium. “This exciting partnership also aligns with Plarium’s overall vision to bring the most engaging experience to our audience by enhancing every minute that players spend with us.”
