by on August 24, 2015

The Classic Dreamcast Jrpg Grandia 2 is now available to download from Steam and Good Old Games, but no matter that store you choose the game has an introductory price of $14.99 (25% off the original $19.99). Some of the features in the anniversary edition includes:

  • Visual upgrades to textures, lighting, and shadows
  • Original Japanese voice option
  • Additional difficulty level
  • Gamepad support
  • Steam Trading Cards (Steam version only)
  • Steam Achievements (Steam version only)
  • Steam Cloud Save Support (Steam version only)
  • Selectable Video Options
  • Remapable Keyboard & Gamepad Support
  • 100 Save File Slots
  • Dreamcast VMS Save File Support

As sone of you may know the remake as originally announced ad Grandia 2 HD but the publisher, GungHo, decided to retitle the game as  Grandia II Anniversary Edition in honor of the game 15th anniversary. However I’m gonna have to agree with Destructoid in saying that this version didn’t reall look muhc like an HD remake. Heck the game isn’t even in widescreen, though I expect someone in the pc modding community to fix that issue.

Still as a fan of old school Jrpgs I am going to make to to download this gem of a game on stream asap!
