NetEase recently decided to unveil a pipeline of new mobile games that are heading into Closed Beta for potential release in the West. These games include two Action RPGs and a strategy RPG.
First up are the two Action RPGs. The first in these, known as Eternal Arena, has only recently entered Closed Beta, and gamers can sign up to try to test it out. For those wondering, Eternal Arena allows you to train a team of 35 playable heroes and then command them in teams of 3 through a total of 15 different game modes. If you’re more of a player-versus-player type gamer, you can send your teams after other gamers as well. For an idea, just check out the official trailer below to see if it is one that piques your interest:
Next up is Tome of the Sun, a game with MMO features in which you will develop a wizard character and explore the world. This game hasn’t yet entered Closed Beta, but will soon, and as a result, pre-registration is open for those who are interested. Here’s the official trailer:
Last but not least is March of Heroes, the strategy RPG that was unveiled. It will utilize resource management and city building elements as you attempt to train an army to conquer enemy territory. As with Tome of the Sun, March of Heroes has not entered Closed Beta, but pre-registration is open as it will be soon.
These three games come in the wake of the recent launch date reveal of their first game for the West, known as Speedy Ninja, as well as the PAX Prime concert by Steve Aoki to celebrate the August 27 launch.
