At E3 I got a chance to have a first look at Horizon, The Last Guardian, and Uncharted 4. This experience was not hands on, so I can’t tell you how the games play. Although, they did give us a deeper concept of the game (mostly Horizon and The Last Guardian) than they did at the PlayStation conference. This theater was right in the back next to Star Wars Battlefront and the Nintendo section at E3.
When I first walked into the theater they started to play the trailer for Horizon (which was the same trailer that they showed everyone at the conference), then once they started to play the game they started talking about how to change from different types of arrows and the names of the machines that they were fighting.
Then for The Last Guardian they immediately started playing, but instead of where they started at the conference they started before they got outside. The child had to feed his big friend with barrels filled with who knows what and had to find out how to get his big friend through a big door before going outside. Once outside they started to play through what everyone saw at the conference, which was heart pumping and filled with excitement all throughout the game play.
Finally for Uncharted 4 they start playing through the same thing they showed us at the conference, but at the end when Nate is about to crash into that wall, he flies through and after a long fight he gets to Sam. They go straight into Sam’s apartment and once they get inside, they hear someone who is already inside and it seems to be a girl, it’s Elena Fisher! Yes! she is alive and comes back in the game in Uncharted 4. These games look very beautiful, filled with art, action, and adventure and do seem very promising.
