If you’re a die-hard racing fan, and you’ve been waiting to play Project Cars on your Nintendo Wii U, you will be disappointed to hear that the game isn’t coming anytime soon to the next-gen console.
Why? Well, the game’s developer revealed today that the Wii U’s hardware is to blame, as Project Cars can barely run at 23 fps on it. They tried achieving a minimum 30 fps, but failed as the game is “simply too much for the Wii U.”.
But there’s still hope, as the developer said that they’re eager to hear more from Nintendo regarding the mysterious NX console. This means that they are willing to bring the game to it if it’s powerful enough hardware-wise.
