Just when you thought your social life takes priority shortly after you finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, developer CD Projekt RED announces that the first two expansion for the game will be almost the same size as The Witcher 2.
“The first expansion will be around 10 hours and the second expansion will be around 20 hours… and I think it’s possible that they will be bigger,” studio’s Konrad Tomaszkiewicz said in a interview with Game Reactor.
“It’s always like this (that when we plan some time or hours, it’s twice or something like this), but I’m not promising anything right now. And even now, if you sum up this 10 to 20 hours and you compare it to The Witcher 2, it’s almost the size of The Witcher 2. And it will be cool, it will be new stories, it will be very emotional stories and I think that people will be happy.” he continued.
Adding this up to the vanilla content of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, you’ll get more than a hundred hours of in-game fun… not counting the never ending card game Gwent.
As you might already know, CD Projekt Red plans on releasing two major expansions for the game. The first expansion, Heart of Stone, will be released later this year, while Blood and Wine expansion will see the light of day sometime in 2016.
