From Software revealed today that the 1.03 update for Bloodborne will be released by the end of this month, fixing several issues. Some of the most important problems fixed with this patch are the load times, performance optimizations, and the bug which allows player to play a dumbed-down version of the game by leaving their console on for 12 hours straight (making every boss fight easy).

They plan to release the update at 1am PDT on a non-Friday night to “disrupt the fewest players”, as the servers will be down for at least two hours. For those experiencing issues with the NAT type, Sony also released a quick fix for it:

Network Issues for Certain users

If you are having trouble accessing online features, please check your NAT type and ensure proper ports on your network are open.

How to check your NAT type

Please check your NAT type by following these steps on your PS4.

Check whether it is Type 1, Type 2 or Type 3.

Online functionality may be restricted when playing under NAT Type 3.
