During tonight’s season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead, Microsoft aired a live-action trailer for their highly anticipated game this year, Halo 5: Guardians. Previously given a release window of Fall 2015, the new Halo game from 343 Studios will drop on October 27th, 2015. The trailer gave fans a bit of insight as well, as it had a very intimidating Agent Locke in a discussion with an injured Master Chief, the iconic protagonist of the acclaimed series.
Apparently, Locke wants to take revenge for the actions of Master Chief, blaming him for the events in the game, and calling him a betrayer, his weapon aimed towards Chief’s head. Interestingly enough there was a second trailer, where we saw the tables completely turned, Agent Lock being the one down, and Master Chief with the gun pointed towards him. This could mean that there will be two different campaigns with different outcomes perhaps? We will have to find out more in the coming months, and surely at this years E3.
