StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void closed beta invites roll out March 31st
Blizzard has announced that starting March 31st, closed beta invites for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void will be sent out to Starcraft players. This will give players the first chance to try out the new Protoss unit, the Adept, a core gateway unit with ground-based attacks, as well as the ability to mirror itself to make an independent copy. The beta will also give players a chance to see the ongoing changes to current units in the game. Aside from unit changes, players will even have the chance to try the new Archon mode, a cooperative/competitive multiplayer mode that allows two players to share one base and army to fight against another opponent or team. Blizzard also announced the debut of three new maps coming to the game, the Ruins of Seras, Lerilak Crest, and the Orbital Shipyard. If you’re interested in being a part of this beta, make sure that your Battle.net account beta profile settings are up to date and have the StarCraft option checked. This does not guarantee selection, but it does at least make it possible to take part in a closed beta for StarCraft and other Blizzard titles.
