Madden NFL 15 predicts Patriots as Super Bowl champs

by on January 26, 2015

As has become customary with every Super Bowl, EA has put together another simulator using Madden NFL to predict the championship game, pitting the New England Patriots against the defending champs, Seattle Seahawks.

According to Madden NFL 15’s simulator, Tom Brady hooked up with Rob Gronkowski on the opening drive for a 21-yard touchdown completion for an early 7-0 lead.

After trading touchdowns and a Seattle field goal, the Seahawks picked off Brady and returned it 58 yards for a touchdown to give the Seahawks a 17-14 halftime lead.

Seattle then came out and scored via 9-yard touchdown run by Marshawn Lynch, but Brady came right back with a pass to Gronkowski to bring them within 3 at 24-21.

After a mainly defensive 4th quarter, Tom Brady finally connected with Julian Edelman for the final touchdown of the game, ensuring the 28-24 win.

Brady was named MVP, with 335 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
