On December 3rd 2014 Sony launched a 20th Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 4, which was limited to 12.300 units. They all have been sold out in a few hours and now we can see a lot of those consoles on Ebay or other similar websites on sale. But how much would the fans pay to have a piece of gaming history?
We found the answer on Yahoo! Auctions, where the first-ever 20th Anniversary Edition PlayStation 4 was listed yesterday. At this moment the bid is 10 million yen, which means approximately $100.000. Do you think the price is too high at this moment? Well it will get even higher in the upcoming days, because we are talnking about the 00001/12300 of this rare limited edition.
Luckily the current person who put the console on auction will not be criticised for its action, because the owner is Sony Entertainment Network and the destination of the money earned will be donated to Save the Children Japan organization. The auction runs until January 25th, but you need to have a Japan adress if you want to bid, because the console will not be shipped overseas!
