Today NIKITA ONLINE and Boyojoy were thrilled to announce the Russian release of their web-based side-scrolling MMORPG, Clash of Olympus. Russian gamers will be able to enjoy the title on the GameXP entertainment web-portal.
Boyojoy’s COO, Leo Wang, stated, “speaking users our game is going to be exposed to after the launch on GameXP, we deem our cooperation with NIKITA ONLINE as a matter of strategic significance.”
Though Clash of Olympus may give viewers the impression of an arcade platform game, it is indeed a true MMORPG featuring a class system, quests, pets, player-versus-player, player-versus-environment, and more. But why would a viewer think that the game is an arcade platformer?
The answer is actually quite simple. Clash of Olympus is a side-scroller, meaning that all of the characters mostly move from left to right and right to left. Add in the fact that Clash of Olympus utilizes “intense gameplay uncharacteristic of any typical RPG” and the game’s fiercely flamboyant visuals, and you can understand the misperception.
How well will Russian gamers welcome Clash of Olympus into their computers?
