Xbox One New Features for Twitch App

Twitch has just released an official statement regarding its Xbox One app. The company will be bringing with this huge update features such as a personalized homepage for each user, VODs (video on demand), and advanced directories.

While I’ll love to walk you through all the features, I have almost no experience with Twitch streams, so here’s the official statement from the company:

“We are excited to deliver our biggest Xbox One update, packed with more features our community has requested

It’s not just live – highlights and past broadcasts are available, too!

Xbox One is the first platform to bring you a full-featured app with Twitch videos on demand (VODs).  Beginning today, you’ll see VODs (i.e., highlights and past broadcasts) gradually added to channel pages, even when the broadcaster is offline.

Your new, personalized homepage

The redesigned homepage puts the content you follow front and center.  To curate your experience, hover over any Game or Channel, press the Menu button, and select Follow.

Advanced directories for your favorite Xbox One games

Have you ever wanted to find the best Call of Duty player currently broadcasting? Now that’s possible. We’ve teamed up with Xbox to make it easy to watch content most relevant to you.”
