Eidos Montreal has revealed the Dawn Engine, a new game engine that will be used for the the studio’s upcoming Deus Ex Universe projects.
Dawn Engine is a modified version of IO Interactive‘s Glacier 2 Engine, that was used for Hitman Absolution. It includes new tech regarding improved rendering capabilities, real-time physics and advanced artificial intelligence programming, among other things. The image below is a proof of what the Dawn Engine can do.
