Killer Instinct: Season 2 continues with a new playable character, a mummified bad guy with the name of Kan-Ra. The new character has an interesting backstory, which I invite you to read it:
A Babylonian Sorcerer has cursed Kan-Ra to rot for over 2000 years after a failed assassination attempt against his king. Thanks to dark magic and artifacts, Kan-Ra has kept himself going for centuries, and now he’s out for absolute power over mankind. Having been imprisoned by Maya’s order hundreds of years ago, Kan-Ra is freed following an Ultratech attack and now he’s looking for specimens to dissect.
Kan-Ra’s fighting style makes use of the powers he’s mastered from dark sorceries, using his bandages and magic for ranged attacks, while deploying ground and aerial traps to trip up rivals. He’s a very mobile character too, which should make Kan-Ra an interesting choice in your fightings.
Kan-Ra will be available to Killer Instinct on November 24th for those who have bought the Season 2 Ultra Edition ($39.99), and for the other players on November 30th. More characters will be available on a monthly basis until Spring 2015.
