MLG and ESPN reveal first X Games Aspen teams

First three teams invited for X Games Aspen Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament revealed.

Today Major League Gaming (MLG), the global leader in eSports, and ESPN X Games revealed that they’ll be teaming up for the first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive MLG X Games Invitational. This will take place at the X Games Aspen from January 22 through January 25, 2015.

MLG has revealed that the first three teams to be invited are none other than Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Fnatic, and Cloud9 (former 2 are from Europe and the latter is from North America). Those fans interested will be able to either watch the competition in person or even tune in to the broadcast via MLG.tv, MLG.tv apps for iOS and Android, or even the MLG.tv app available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

We’ll keep you updated as qualifying tournament details are revealed in the weeks to come.

MLG is currently selling Premium Pass Tickets for X Games Aspen at their website. These tickets secure reserved seating in the MLG tent, a behind-the-scenes tour, a gift bag with MLG merchandise, gaming gear and more.
