Evolution has announced that they will be giving away DriveClub‘s first premium DLC packs for free to the players who’ve been affected by the server’s issues that have ruined the game since its launch.
“The team at Evolution continues to work diligently to resolve all of the server issues. We know you have all been extremely patient and understandably frustrated during DRIVECLUB’s launch, and to show our appreciation for the support during this challenging time, we will be offering the premium DLC packs for November,” the developer said.
The Ignition Expansion Pack, Photo-Finish Tour Pack and two livery packs will be offered to DriveClub players for free on 25th November in North America, 27th November in Europe and 27th November in Japan.
That means five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies to unlock and 10 new livery items for online and offline play. The publisher also mentioned that the Season Pass adopters will not be neglected and they will still get 38 cars, 176 tour events and 80 new liveries.
On November 18th we’ll have the next game update coming to DriveClub, with Photo mode, new India, Scotland and Chile tracks, and the following fixes:
- Improved multiplayer collision physics to reduce frustrating spin-outs
- Adjustments to soften the corner cutting penalty system
- Options in the club menu to view everything your club has unlocked
- A fix to allow all club owners to update their club badges
