Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Delta Episode Revealed

Will Deoxys or Rayquaza be victorious?

Deoxys will face off against the Legendary Rayquaza. Which will be victorious?

Today, The Pokémon Company International unveiled story details for Delta Episode within Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Delta Episode will feature Deoxys and other surprises, such as the region’s Mirage spots that conceal Legendary Pokémon and even the mystery of the ancient codes hidden throughout Hoenn.

Delta Episode

In the new Delta Episode, you will be able to uncover the history of the Hoenn region as you are thrust into a quest to save the world. The Mossdeep Space Center, a research facility for studying space and rocket science, has discovered that a giant asteroid is hurtling towards the planet. You will need to stop Team Magma and Team Aqua from attacking the facility while a battle in space brews between the Sky High Pokémon Rayquaza and the DNA Pokémon Deoxys. The latter is a powerful Pokémon that can transform between four distinct Formes: Normal Forme, Attack Forme, Defense Forme, and Speed Forme. WIll Rayquaza be able to overcome the challenge that will determine Hoenn’s future?

Wallace, the Sootopolis City’s Gym Leader, as well as the Hoenn region’s Champion, Steven, will help Trainers restore peace to the Hoenn region during the Delta Episode. Both of these mighty men hold secrets to stopping the asteroid. You will also meet a mysterious girl named Zinnia, who is rumored to possess the key to the fate of the world. She wears a Mega Anklet set with one of the mysterious Key Stones, which allows her Salamence to Mega Evolve.

Mirage Spots

Throughout Hoenn, mysterious Mirage spots have begun appearing. These spots can be explored with the ability Soar, and as you do so, you have a chance to encounter Legendary Pokémon from previous Pokémon video games. Some of these Legendaries that you will be able to capture include Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Cresselia, and even Heatran. The encounters will vary between the versions of the game, however.

Decipher Ancient Codes

If you believe that the Eon Ticket and Mirage spots are the only places you will be able to encounter Legendary Pokémon, you would be incorrect. The mighty titans of the Hoenn region, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, will return in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. These mighty Pokémon can be encountered after you decipher ancient messages that have been scattered throughout the region.

Once you have successfully fought and captured these three Legendary Pokémon and fulfilled other special conditions, you will be able to face off against an even more powerful Pokémon known as Regigigas. Regigigas is said to be the creator of the Hoenn region’s Legendary trio.

If you have the Special Demo Version of Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, you can capture a powerful Pokémon known as Glalie. Once you have done so, if you utilize Pokémon Link, you will be able to send it to the full game.

For those unaware, Glalie is an Ice-type Pokémon that has the ability to Mega Evolve into a menacing beast known as Mega Glalie. This isn’t the only powerful Pokémon you will be able to transfer, however. If you have obtained (or do obtain) a special code from GameStop stores, you will be able to send the Mythical Diancie from Pokémon X and Y to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Mine Cart Adventure

The final bit of news The Pokémon Company unveiled is called Mine Cart Adventure. This will be a new PGL attraction that debuts in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. You will be able to utilize Poké Miles and Medals in the previous titles, as well as the new ones, to play this game.

In it, you will need to navigate carts on winding tracks. Your objective? Collect Berries in order to win a variety of Poké Balls.
