Plarium releases MageCraft: The War on Android and iOS
Yesterday Plarium, a leading mobile and social game developer, was pleased to announce the global launch of its latest real-time strategy mobile game. This game, titled MageCraft: The War, is now available for both Android and iOS devices. For those unaware of the franchise, it has achieved success on several social networks, accumulating over 2.2 million players.
“With MageCraft: The War, our goal was to create a unique world with an engaging history and fascinating storyline,” said Gabi Shalel, Plarium’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The element of magic in this game is something that appeals to a broad audience. Each player can find something exciting in the world of Argento, but perhaps the most engaging quality is that everyone has the freedom to make their own decisions and decide their own fate within their castle and on the global map.”
MageCraft originally launched back in March 2013 on a Russian social network known as Vkontakte. It quickly expanded to other platforms, and in June 2014, was released globally on Facebook. The team at Plarium has listened to player preferences and adjusted the game with new features, events, and territories in order to keep the game from going stale.
Some of MageCraft: The War’s features are:
* Quickly Jump in the Storyline – The real-time interface is intuitive for
both seasoned hardcore fans and casual social gamers to join the story.
* Develop Strategy and Teamwork – Players can forge alliances by partnering
with millions of other Lords, to repel enemy attacks and invade Great Wonders.
* Fight for Power – Users can climb to power, fight and conquer other
players’ territories and enjoy the game’s primary emphasis on the allure of magic.
* Enjoy an Ever-Evolving Experience – New events, territories and buildings
are frequently offered to players to keep the gaming experience fresh for long-term
Those interested in the title can pick it up on Android devices running v2.2 and higher. iOS users will need to be running iOS 6.1 or later. Currently the game has been translated into English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Russian.
