Steel Wool Games and publisher Ripstone today revealed that the platform-adventure game Flyhunter Origins will be buzzing onto PlayStation Vita, PC (via Steam), and Mac later this month. This title will be priced at  4.99.

Flyhunter Origins was developed by animation-film veterans at Steel Wool Games. As a result, it delivers the sort of film quality cutscenes, character design, and story-led gameplay that one would expect.

You take on the role of Zak, a bumbling alien spaceship janitor and wannabe Flyhunter. He work’s on the legendary spaceship of the Flyhunter Crew, known as The Frog. He seems happy on the outside, yet, deep down, he longs for an adventure of his very own.

The ship approaches Earth’s orbit, with the Flyhunter crew in a deep cryo sleep. Suddenly, The Frog’s important cargo of extremely rare insects is mysteriously jettisoned into space and crash-lands on Earth. Now it’s up to the clumsy janitor Zak to save the day. He always dreamed of an adventure, but can he live up to his own dreams?
