The developers at Still Games wish to thank all of the supporters, be they backers, media, press, or even just people who were able to pass along the game via word of mouth.
“We’re thrilled to have reached our funding target!” Peter Harmon, Game Designer for Animal Gods stated excitedly. “The response from our backers has been amazing, and now that we are funded, we’re excited to be able to make Animal Gods a reality! For the next 48 hours we’re going to be focused on the stretch goals for the campaign and hoping we can take Animal Gods to the PlayStation 4!”

You will explore the ancient roots of European history, taking part in massive 2D side-scrolling battles in the “wonderfully colourful and beautifully ravaged” setting of ancient Europe.
Those interested in helping the title achieve its largest stretch goal of $45,000 (the funding is currently at $26,831 as of the time of this article) can head over to the Kickstarter page.
