The new Hitman movie, titled Hitman: Agent 47, has been pushed back by Fox Studios until the second half of 2015. Originally the movie was announced to be scheduled for release in February 2015.
Agent 47 will be played by the Homeland’s actor Rupert Friend, who stepped in to the role as Paul Walker‘s replacement, after the Fast & Furious star’s unexpected death.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the extra time will be devoted to completing special effects shots for the movie. Hitman: Agent 47 will now release in cinemas in August 2015, bringing a beloved video game franchis back to the big screens.
