The brothers of destruction face off. Will the Undertaker (EU) win, or will Kane (NA) defeat his brother?

The weeks come and pass and the two regions of North America and Europe continue to duke it out for the PlayStation Plus crown. We apologize for neglecting to cover last week’s skirmish, but this week is sure to be a nail-biter as Europe has chosen none other than the legendary Undertaker to represent them in this battle. North America has decided to pit brother against brother, choosing Kane as their champion.

Kane starts things off aggressively, wasting no time in grabbing his brother by the throat with Nidhogg (Regular: $14.99, PlayStation Plus: $11.99). The Undertaker tries to battle out, but Kane is determined, lifting his brother up and slamming him to the ground with a devastatingly powerful chokeslam in the form of Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition (Regular: $49.99, Sale: $13.99, PlayStation Plus: $9.79). In an attempt to ensure that his brother stays down, Kane quickly climbs the rope of Ethan: Meteor Hunter (Regular: $9.99, Sale: $7.49, PlayStation Plus: $4.49) and leaps from it, landing squarely on his brother. He quickly moves into a covering position and the referee slides down and begins his count. (The full US update can be seen here.)

The EU’s champion, the Undertaker, manages to kick out right before the referee’s hand slams the mat for the three. Kane, shocked, backs off, and the Undertaker suddenly sits up. The Undertaker retaliates against his brother with a chokeslam of his own in the form of Vib Ribbon (20% off for 1 week). Kane manages to get back up, only to receive a boot to the gut with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F (Vita Regular: $44.95, Sale: $26.95, PS3 Regular: $67.95, Sale: $40.95 with PlayStation Plus members getting an extra 10% off both versions). Moving quickly, the Undertaker lifts his brother up with Octodad: Dadliest Catch (Regular: $20.95, Sale: $10.45, with PlayStation Plus members getting an extra 10% off.) and slams him back down in an elevated powerbomb that he has dubbed “The Last Ride”. Just to ensure that Kane will be down for the count, the Undertaker picks his brother up again. He delivers his signature Tombstone Piledriver in the form of In Space We Brawl (20% off for 1 week), and finally moves to cover Kane. (The full EU update can be found here.)

The referee reaches the count of three, and Kane still has yet to move from the brutal onslaught. As a result, the EU’s champion, the Undertaker, is declared the winner, giving the EU the victory and tying the two regions.

Who will they choose as their champions next week? Which champion will claim victory? We’ll find out soon enough, but for now, happy gaming!
