Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor glitch is surprisingly groovy
Something fantastic has been going on in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for some players.
There’s a graphical glitch going around that turns the game into a bright, neon and surprisingly beautiful mess. We’ll call it the Groovy Glitch.
Both people in the videos are playing on the PC according to their button prompts. It’s hard to tell what caused the problem, if we can call it that, but it probably has to do with their video cards.
Shadow of Mordor is a grim game, especially if you’ve seen what happens at the beginning. A disco glitch like the Groovy Glitch is both ironic and a welcome break to the darkness that fills the game.
It’s also got me thinking about a dance game based on Batman: Arkham Asylum’s combat system, which Shadow of Mordor also uses. It’s already rhythmic. Why not translate that to dance moves?
