Destiny Servers are Currently Down

Update 4: The servers are back online, enjoy!

Update 3: Popular hacker group Lizard Squad has taken credit for Destiny’s servers being down.

Update 2: We got confirmed that the problem is spread on all platforms! Since PSN & XBL are not affected, it’s more than like an issue with Bungie’s servers.

Update: We got several more reports from players being kicked out from the server, without any chance of getting back online.

Destiny’s servers seems to be down, according to several users. The error shown in the picture above appears every time someone tries to log into the Destiny servers.

While we only tested this on PlayStation 4, this could be a problem spread on all platforms. This could be an issue generated by the enormous amount of people that are playing at the same time, or just a server error.

While there’s no further information at this moment, we can assume that the problem will be fixed soon. Keep checking this post for details, as we will updating it on the go.
