Star Citizen’s creator Chris Roberts does not exclude the possibility of releasing the game on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but at this point the focus isn’t on consoles.

“I definitely decided very early on that I wasn’t going to focus or be worried about the last-gen consoles,” Roberts told MCV. “The current PS4 and Xbox One, they’re essentially like stripped-down, mid-level gaming PCs, so there would be a potential for some form of the work that we’re doing to be on them.”

So there is hope for having some space action game for Xbox One and PS4 in the future.
