Persona Q 3DS arrives in North America.
Nintendo of America was thrilled to announce that the Persona Q Edition of their Nintendo 3DS XL console will indeed be arriving in the United States.
The Persona Q 3DS features the iconic Grimoire (the tome utilize by the attendants of the Velvet Room that contains information on the many Personas) styling on the front, evoking the very essence of Persona Q. In addition to this styling on the front, the back features the new character designs see in the game.
This 3DS XL will be sold exclusively at GameStop at the suggested retail price of $199.99. Fans who pre-ordered either Persona Q or the Persona Q Premium Edition that are concerned about doubling up on the game or missing out on bonus content can rest easy; the console will be sold as hardware only.
Persona Q is the first Persona game for the Nintendo 3DS system. It takes beloved characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4 and puts them into an all-new adventure. The game is in the style of Etrian Odyssey, where you will control teams of five and investigate dungeons in a first-person view. All new characters, enemies, and even the presence of Etrian Odyssey’s FOEs will give players brand new challenges to tackle.
Persona Q is scheduled to release on November 25, 2014 in North America in both stores and the Nintendo eShop. Pre-orders, as well as a limited first-run printing of the game, will include Set #2 of the Persona franchise’s iconic Tarot cards and come in special packaging to hold both the cards and the game.
Will you be picking up this special, limited edition Persona Q 3DS console? Or will you, perhaps, simply be content with picking up the game come November?
