Today Creative Assembly was excited to reveal that Alien: Isolation has gone gold. The game will be arriving on shelves and digital storefronts on October 7. In order to celebrate, the team insists that there’s No Escape from Alien: Isolation, putting together a series of short trailers. The first, titled No Escape, was released today:
The series of trailers, called “#HOWWILLYOUSURVIVE”, shows that you will need to discover unique ways of surviving the powerful creature. If you refuse to learn a new set of skills, you can be assured that you will not survive on Sevastopol.
The beast in Alien: Isolation is constantly hunting you. If it hears something, it will track down the source of the noise. If it sees you, then it will pursue you at full speed, aiming to finish you off. The creature is ruthless and relentless, and perhaps even unstoppable.
Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror game that aims to capture the fear and tension that Ridley Scott’s classic 1979 film evoked in many viewers. You will find yourself trapped in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as the unpredictable and ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing in the shadows.
In comparison with the creature, you are quite underpowered and extremely underprepared. As a result, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions, and use all of your wits just to survive.
Will you be able to survive the Xenomorph’s onslaught? Or will you fall prey to it on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, or PlayStation 3 when Alien: Isolation releases on October 7?
