Zoro’s armor now available in One Piece: Unlimited World Red.
Today BANDAI NAMCO Games Europe announced that two brand new One Piece: Unlimited World Red DLC packs are available on both the Nintendo e-Shop and PlayStation Network.
The first pack of DLC is the Zoro Armor Pack, which features a brand new costume for the swordsman. This costume allows him to wear a suit of Western-style armor as he goes into battle. In addition to the new costume, the pack includes a brand new quest, called “Watch Your Step”, in which you will need to defeat Black General Franky. If you are successful, you will be able to acquire the “Old Gold Coin”, which could very well turn you into one of the most wealthy pirates in the world.
The second bit of DLC is the Gladiator pack, which will allow you to utilize the same gladiator outfit that Luffy uses to conceal his identity during the Coliseum tournament. This costume, which as been added as an extra and is thus not covered by the game’s Season Pass, comes in two versions. The “Full” version is for if you simply want to show off, while the “light” version is utilized if you wish to go unnoticed.
How much flak will the developers get for taking the “Extra, not covered by the Season Pass” stance with the DLC? What are your thoughts on their decision to treat the DLC in this manner?
