Fight monsters with friends in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
oday BioWare revealed that their upcoming title, Dragon Age: Inquisition, will not only include the single player campaign previous games utilized, but will also feature a special cooperative dungeon crawling multiplayer mode.
This mode, which was created alongside the game’s single player campaign, marks the first time that gamers will be able to play with their friends in the Dragon Age franchise. It features action-packed quests for up to four players that are separate from the single player campaign’s story.
Aaryn Flynn, General Manager at BioWare, stated, “For Dragon Age: Inquisition, a special team of veteran developers from the Dragon Age and Mass Effect franchises created fun, fast-paced multiplayer gameplay that requires strategic teamwork on top of Inquisition’s party-based combat and extensive loot and crafting system. It was early in the game’s development that we realized how much fun fans of our series were having, with so many players teaming up in Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode. We can’t wait to give Dragon Age fans an even bigger and deeper experience.”
The multiplayer mode challenges you and up to three friends to team up in order to take on a range of multiplayer quests and objectives, allowing you to explore intricate dungeons and vanquish every foe that stands in your way. As you fight along in the dungeons, you will not only collect loot and items, but also gain the ability to craft new weapons and armor, and even unlock new characters to utilize.
Those interested and attending PAX Prime in Seattle can check out the multiplayer first-hand at the Xbox Booth located at the North Hall, 4th floor, Booths 412, 422, and 432.
The game is currently scheduled to release on November 18, 2014 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
