FIFA 15 bringing a host of new next gen features

EA Sports announced that FIFA 15 will have a bunch of new improvements and features added to it, making it a much more realistic experience for fans.  The new “next gen” goalkeepers in FIFA 15 will now look, move, and think like their real world counterparts, giving them new AI that allows them to anticipate shots and passes, move with positional awareness, and display an array of new animations and reactions.  A trailer showcasing the next gen goalkeeper features can be viewed below.

FIFA 15 will also be adding all 18 clubs from the Turkish Süper Lig and gives the Barclays Premier League an overhaul to add to it’s authenticity.  Players will be able to playin all 20 stadiums of the Barclays Premier League, with chants captured from live events of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season, and brand new commentary that will be synonymous with the original presentation.  Also to add to the realism of the game, more than 200 new realistic player faces have been 3D scanned and rendered for the game.

The game mode FIFA Ultimate Team adds new features as well, allowing fans to manage and build a team of their favorite football stars.  Loan Players makes it possible to determine is certain players are suitable for your team, singing them on loan via EA Sports Football Club Catalogue, giving them a chance to play with them for a limited number of games.  Concept Squads give players access to every player in the game mode, allowing them to see the chemistry between athletes, plan their next line-up, or transfer market move.  Friendly Seasons allow players to challenge friends in a five match season, allowing them to track their stats and progress through a new menu.  Exclusive to Xbox, FIFA 15 Ultimate Team will also see the arrival of a number of new FIFA Ultimate Team Legends.

In Career Mode, an brand new Team Management system gives fans the option to customize up to six different team sheets and change formations, tactics, and roles based on their next opponent – making it a seamless transition as they progress from game to game during their careers.  Fans can also personalize their gameplay experience through this feature, assigning up to five different attacking and defending player instructions to each of the 10 outfield player positions. Instructions determine the type of attacking runs and defensive positioning players will use in a game.

EA Sports Football Club is now more interactive, connecting fans to their club, friends, and favorite game modes.  Players can now share news, interact with friends, and redeem items all using a new EA SPORTS Football Club widget that gives fans direct access to the Football Club Catalogue and news feed. Match Day Live strengthens the connection to clubs and leagues around the world with a live football news hub.  Powered by Goal.com, news will update regularly, bringing stories, stats, and league tables directly to the FIFA 15 menu so fans can stay up to date with information from the top leagues worldwide.

FIFA 15 will release worldwide for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, as well as a version released for Xbox 360, PS3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii, this September.
