Sony sued over Killzone: Shadow Fall’s resolution
California resident Douglas Ladore has sued Sony Computer Entertainment America for the fact that the multiplayer mode of Killzone: Shadow Fall is not 1080p as advertised. The lawsuit is for “deceptive marketing”, and while it’s justified, we don’t really think it will be successful.
The resolution in Shadow Fall’s multiplayer mode is 960 by 1080, not even close to what Sony advertised. Guerrila Games tried implementing a “high-quality temporal upscale”, but it seems that not everyone is satisfied with it.
