Table Top Racing crosses the finish line to arrive on Vita

Can you win the championship mode?

Can you win the championship mode?

Today Playrise Digital’s critically acclaimed AAA micro combat racer arrived on Sony’s PlayStation Vita console in North America. For those of you who are awaiting the game in Europe, you’ll be pleased to note that it arrives tomorrow, hot on the heels of the US release.

The title, which will feature a PlayStation Plus discount at launch, is priced at 4.99/ $7.99 and is described by the development team as being the “Definitive version” of the title. It features a smooth 60 FPS, enhanced environments, twice the polygon count in the track geometry, and superior handling.

Said the developers, “Not only is this the best looking version of the game to date, it’s also best played on PlayStation
Vita – thanks to the Vita’s dual analog controls, rear touch capabilities and ad-hoc online multiplayer.”

If you haven’t been following the title, it pits all manner of custom-made, miniaturized cars against each other. As you race on table-top tracks, you’ll have to avoid obstacles and be able to grab some “glorious” power-ups. It features a full championship mode, quick play, drift, and over 30 special events for you to take part in as you race with full live online multiplayer with up to four friends online or locally.
