Capcom has officially revealed the North American box art for the Nintendo 3DS exclusive Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. It looks like it really captures the spirit of hunting with your friends in this popular franchise, this being the first portable game in the series to feature online play.
Capcom’s own Yuri Lindbergh also pointed out how many of the new features of the game are detailed from the box art, bringing attention to the hunter on the Gore Magala’s back, as well as the archer on the higher terrain on the right. It was also confirmed that the North American and European online servers would be shared, so there will always be someone to hunt with. The local multiplayer is also free to use between both versions, so if you happen to be visiting Europe to visit a fellow Monster Hunter fan, you’ll be able to hunt together regardless of the version you have.
This news doesn’t come too far behind the official announcement that the Link armor and weapons will be making it in the localized version of the game, as well as other surprises to be announced soon. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate launches early next year for the Nintendo 3DS.
