Sony President Andrew House revealed to Telegraph in an interview that the company has left open the possibility of making another Crash Bandicoot game.
“In concept, it is something we’ve been thinking about and discussing, and this is a shift for us. We’ve started to say that maybe there isn’t anything wrong with going back and looking at characters that people still talk about, that were a big part of their childhood or their youth. I definitely wouldn’t close the door on that,” he said.
There’s a good chance for the game to be revived if the company runs out of exclusive IPs, or just wants to add something for old-timers in their portfolio. The franchise is currently owned by Activision, which could make things a bit harder for Sony, but we can only hope it’s going to happen one day!
