Big patch coming to Orcs Must Die! Unchained next Tuesday!

Robot Entertainment just announced that the closed beta for Orcs Must Die! Unchained will be receiving a patch next week, which will include quite a few changes, but most notably will also add two more heroes.  Starting next Tuesday, July 22nd, fans that are taking part in the closed beta can play as the Paladin General Sir Winston, or the glorified ruler, The Kobold King.  The update also adds 40 new cards, four new skins, and also a “Card Grinder”, which will allow you to make better use of your duplicate cards and turn them into valuable Gibs.

There will also be notable improvements to the Wi-Fi connectivity as well as adding team matchmaking.  As the patch rolls out, all player accounts will also be wiped to make way for the new changes.  For full patch note details, visit the Orcs Must Die! Unchained forum here.  Orcs Must Die! Unchained continues it’s closed beta until the team at Robot Entertainment feels like it’ll be ready fro release, which they plan on releasing later this year for PC.
