Razer unveils a new arcade stick.

Today a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, Razer, unveiled a brand new arcade stick. This product, known as the Razer Atrox Arcade Stick, was revealed just in time for The Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2014, which is, for those unaware, the world’s largest fighting game tournament.

Razer hopes to build on the success of the original Atrox stick that was released for the Xbox 360. Several of the world’s best eSports athletes have tested the new arcade stick, including none other than Xian of Team Razer, who happens to be the event’s defending champion.

In addition, Razer and Microsoft partnered together in order to design a special limited edition faceplate for the stick based on Killer Instinct, the exclusive launch title for the Xbox One that will be showcased at this year’s EVO tournament.

The Razer Atrox Arcade Stick features eight Sanwa Denshi buttons as well as an ergonomically authentic arcade layout. The inside opens with a simple touch of a button, allowing you to easily customize it to your own taste and play style. You are able to swap in your own personal designs to make the stick even more uniquely yours.

In addition, there are dedicated slots inside the controller that can be utilized to store the included alternate bat-top joystick, detachable USB cable, and even the bundled screwdriver that you can utilize to mod the arcade stick.

Min-Liant Tan, co-founder and CEO of Razer, stated, “We designed the Razer Atrox Arcade Stick for Xbox One on the same principles that made the Razer Atrox for Xbox 360 so popular amongst the fighting game community. Professional gaming is growing rapidly into a global phenomenon, and gear like the Razer Atrox Arcade Stick for Xbox One will help fighting game players everywhere dominate the opposition in style, match after match.”
